Samuel Powers
Samuel Powers
As a throwback to a decade full of their most beloved sitcoms, (where the quintet derived the content for their music) Samuel Powers is a band living in the 90's. The group formed in 2013 to self release their first EP "The Bayside Tigers," a basement-rock soap opera about characters from the TV show "Saved by the Bell." Shortly after they went back into the studio to record their newest EP "Empty Halls, Future Friends," a five song coming of age story drawn from the episodes of the heart-wrenching "Boy Meets World."

But if reliving moments from your favorite childhood television programs isn't enough, SamPow brings an emotional and fun live performance that will take you back to your youth.
The GoAround
The GoAround
Life has a way of molding us until we are something far different than what we may have originally intended. It's what we choose to do with these changes and curve balls that defines us. Pop/alt-rock group The GoAround is a living, breathing, rocking example of this. The band has weathered many changes since their inception in 2006, but after a myriad of member switches the band now revolves around two core members, Alexander and Anthony Saddic. The East coast band is still based in their hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania and has garnered a local fan base by playing shows with other well-known local acts – a fan base that they're hoping to expand to a national level in the coming months. Their debut album, entitled Restating The Question, was released August 10th and its straightforward rock instrumentals paired with raw, versatile vocals create a sound that feels incredibly honest. "[Our] songs lyrically serve to motivate people to analyze what they stand for… Everybody is essentially chasing the same things: Love, acceptance and happiness. That to me is the common thread that unifies all of mankind… and that is the point that we are trying to make." The band has multiple music videos in the works (starting with their singles, the catchy "Her Love Is Like Glass" and the bluesy rock "When I Hit The Bottom") in support of their new album. They are definitely a pair to watch.
Young Poet
Young Poet
Since their formation in 2012, Young Poet has gone through a lot of changes. The initial lineup, genre, even the name has changed, a metamorphosis that would have dissolved any weaker brotherhood. That perseverance is now their album, "Thrive In A Modern Era".

Young Poet's debut sound is a lean cut of pop melodies, punk energy and metal proficiency. Steven and Tyler's tight, drop-tuned rhythm section support snappy and soaring leads from Andrew. Seth's vocals dynamically blend commanding hooks with emotive, earbending passages by way of crafty and uplifting lyrics.
Double duty is simply standard for the four, from Seth's additional guitar work to backing vocals from each member They have also been known to swap instruments in their live performances, already notable for compelling stage presence and humorous dad chat between songs.

With a youthful vigor and a fresh full-length as fuel, Young Poet has big plans. Their growing base of fans and content make them a force to be two-stepped with. But seeing a picture of them pretending their van is a pirate ship only proves that they are all indeed lovers, not fighters.
