Palisades
Formed in 2011, Palisades are a post-hardcore band based out of Iselin, New Jersey. Channeling the melody and fury of bands like the Deftones into a crunching, breakdown-heavy sound, they don't sacrifice accessibility in their pursuit of aggression. Made up of singer Louis Miceli, guitarists Xavier Adams, Matthew Marshall, and Earl Halsan, bassist Brandon Reese, and drummer Aaron Rosa, Palisades signed on with Rise Records before releasing their debut EP, I'm Not Dying Today, in 2012. The band returned the following year to make its first full-length outing with Outcasts, which debuted at number 181 on the Billboard Top 200 and soared to number seven on the Hot New Artists chart. A few shifts in personnel preceded the release of the band's much anticipated eponymous sophomore studio long-player, which arrived in January 2017, again via Rise. ~ Gregory Heaney, Rovi

Ignite The Fire
“Life is only what you make it.” – Over It, Ignite The Fire.
And for Ignite The Fire, life is making music. The band is a strong presence on the East Coast music scene (and even beyond), established through powerful music and a strong connection with their audience. Music fueled with raw and relatable emotion has drawn a dedicated fan base that continuously grows. Ignite The Fire have not only defined themselves through their music, but through their live shows as well. The same emotion and intensity in their songs is played out in every show; engaging the crowd. Formed in 2011, vocalist Jack Gurecki, guitarists Mark Quinn and Michael Nelson, bassist Holly Smith and drummer Caelan Gregory have consistently played shows at venues both big and small. The band are no strangers to sharing the stage with notable touring acts including Three Days Grace, Theory of a Deadman, In This Moment, Black Stone Cherry, All That Remains, Starset, Pop Evil, Nonpoint, Devour The Day, Saving Abel, Hoobastank, Like A Storm, Project 86, The Letter Black, Gemini Syndrome and many more. The band's music has also been featured on internet radio and on-air markets throughout the U.S., U.K., Australia and in Europe; and has a global fan base. In 2017, Ignite The Fire expanded upon their creativity while reinventing themselves in the process. The result was their highly anticipated EP “Trial and Triumph”. The five-song EP includes songs that deal with overcoming adversity and takes musical inspiration from topics such as vices, struggle and loss. “We wanted to create something that was both lyrically and musically relatable,” said drummer Caelan Gregory. “When you listen to each track, the music matches the emotion of the lyrics. It was important for us to create songs that anyone could relate to.” The first single released, “Over It”, is a song about learning to accept and overcome the demons in your life; knowing that they are a part of who you are but can no longer control you. Another song, “Breathe”, deals with abuse whether it be physical, mental or emotional. "The concept revolves around being trapped within a metaphorical house and gaining the strength to break free from it," explained Gregory. Other songs are “Criticize”, “Remember Me” and “You”. “'Trial and Triumph' encompasses everything that is Ignite The Fire and the style and message we want to present to the world,” said lead singer Jack Gurecki. “We are excited to release new music that is both inspired by, and for, our fans.”
