Curse
Curse
Curse is Logan Terkelsen and Jane Vincent. Curse is a two-piece electronic/doom band currently based in Baltimore, MD. The duo formed in November 2011.
Technophobia
Technophobia
Hailing from Washington, DC, Technophobia has emerged with a sound that reaches back to the early days of EBM and darkwave, yet continually pushes forward. Using hardware and analog synthesizers, Katie and Stephen use a classic approach of layering, sound manipulation, effect processing, and heavy sampling to create their unique sound. Their keystone and defining quality are Katie’s vocals. While being melodic, powerful, and poetic they take a pop centric approach to their song writing setting them apart from most in their genre.

Technophobia is a powerful live act. Mixing their strong sound with visuals and lighting they create an atmosphere that matches the intensity of their performance. Technophobia has had the good fortune of play with some of the most seminal bands in their genre: Skinny Puppy, Laibach, Cold Cave, Youth Code, and Douglas McCarthy.

Technophobia’s full length LP Flicker Out and 12” single Negative Space were released in the summer of 2016 on Working Order Records.
Wingtips
Wingtips
Wingtips' most recent release, the GREYAREA EP, is an androgynous sound of transition – an interpolation of darkly shimmering layers of angular guitar and pulsating EBM. The EP sharpens their unabashed anthemic rush with an increasing penchant for melody and an atmosphere equally informed by post-punk as sweeping electronica. The twin pantheons of synthpop and classic VG music are invoked —not as tribute or pastiche – but instead as familiar textures interwoven and singularly assured by band leaders’ Vincent Segretario’s voice.

With this release, Hannah Avalon moves from live member to creative collaborator, contributing to the ethereal come up of “Glass" and the ecstatic lullaby of closer, “Wading." Prior to Wingtips, Segretario and Avalon worked together in projects ranging from anarcho-punk bands to musical theater, and their language has remained fluent across that entire gamut.

GREYAREA pushes forward and past the John Hughes OST aesthetic, while also invoking it, by creating moments and feelings, which hit and stick with you on first listen. This is the type of band whose hooks are so deep they are cinematic in scope; you only need to see or hear them once to become totally obsessed.

Wingtips have had the pleasure of playing with artists such as The Twilight Sad, Fee Lion, Void Vision and Soft Kill. They're confirmed in 2018, for Portland’s Out From The Shadows Festival and Mexico City’s Centro De Salud Festival. Expect their first proper studio full length in 2018 as well.
The Holy Circle
The Holy Circle
The Holy Circle is the newest band from Terence Hannum (Synths), Erica Burgner-Hannum (vocals) and Nathan Jurgenson (drums). Terence, who is known for playing in the black metal-influenced/drone group, Locrian, takes a completely different route with The Holy Circle pulling elements of R&B, synth-pop, and shoegaze to create something completely new.
